Cardboard attic baffles are installed between the trusses in the attic space of a home. They are made from a proprietary grade of cardboard, with a specialized coating on one side. The baffles ensure airflow is maintained between the insulation and the roof deck. This creates airflow from the soffit vents to the roof vents.
