Wind Brace is designed to offer effective resistance to racking during construction. The Bailey Wind Brace profile has a flat surface to accommodate both inside and outside application. Please note:Wind Brace is a framing aid, not a substitute for structural components.
Wind Brace can be used to fulfill the same bracing requirements as an old-fashioned 1x4 let-in brace, but it’s more cost-effective, quicker to install and allows for exterior insulation.
